What to expect

Ephraim’s Light Assembly is a Messianic bible teaching ministry specializing in viewing the teachings of Yeshua and His disciples in the New Testament through the lens of God’s Torah Covenant. 54 lessons are given each year following God’s teaching cycle given to the Hebrews through Moses at Mount Sinai. Each lesson is called a “parashah.”

 

A Parashah refers to a section of a biblical book in the Torah, the first five books of the Bible, that contain all the instructions of God. Each Parashah has a specific theme or topic within the text that is foundational to understanding our Creator and His Kingdom. There is a principle of God that says “whatever we behold, we become.” A complete and loving relationship with God requires us to “behold” His character and His teachings.

 

God has appointed one day a week, from Friday night sundown to Saturday night sundown for all people to meet with Him and study His word. This appointment was established by God Himself at creation before there were any ethnic or religious groups so it applies to all His creation, not just one tribe of Israel as many believe.

 

Ezekiel 20:12 - Moreover, also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.

 

YHWH “God” has called us to do two things: First, we are to never give up studying and seeking the correct interpretation of His word. We are to seek the heart of God!

 

Second: We are to seek every opportunity to show grace and love to others who have been taught the theories of men without the knowledge to call them into question.

 

Satan has crippled Christians for the last two thousand years, masterfully deceiving the very elect of Christianity to create man-made theories and doctrines that alter the word of God. These unfortunate actions, innocently occurring over a long period of time, have allowed our spiritual culture to be changed, and the truth of God denied.

 

This is proven by the fact that God’s people are called by God to be separate from the world yet, the divorce rate is just as high in the church as in the world. Drug addiction is just as high in the church as in the world. Just as many Christians vote for politicians with no Godly values, we have failed to keep the principles of God in our society. We could go on, however; it is up to those who love God and can still see His truth to teach others that God’s people are called out of spiritual Babylon, and that it is time to return to God and the way He taught us to live.

 

But how is that possible when obedience to God’s Torah Commandments is not taught in our society? Pastors Frank and Doris Smith are dedicated to teaching the truth that God has presented in His word.
